Papa Kona Coffee Farm is located two miles north of the artist village of Holualoa in the heart of the Kona Coffee district. A family-owned farm since 1980, we are blessed with the deep rich volcanic soils and perfect drainage of Hualalai mountain, a lovely micro-climate of gentle daily rain, plenty of sunshine, soft ocean breezes, and moderate temperatures, all working in concert to create ideal growing conditions for our Typica coffee trees.
Take a short drive from the farm to Papa Kona Restaurant & Bar, just steps away from the crashing waves of beautiful Kailua Bay in the heart of downtown Kona. There we roast all our specialty coffees in small batches using our house developed recipes, and serve up delicious freshly roasted coffee and espresso drinks.
Cupping notes: Sweet macadamia nut, caramel, stone fruit, warm spice, citric acidity.
